Orange or red/pink both are oat types, and will be fine with a k series.

Depends what's in the car at the moment. If you change type between glycol and OAT, you need to flush the system thoroughly.

Thanks for the advice. It was so low I couldn't tell the colour!

If it was that low then it might be a good idea to completely flush the system.
Then refill using new OAT coolant. Red/Orange.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is the difference? What is OAT? :S

OAT = Organic Acid Technology, it lasts longer than the older types of antifreeze, and iirc is better in modern alloy engines.
