scrappy tomorrow - better carpets in 400/45?
im off to scrappy tomorrow for a fish about
did the 40/45 have better thicker carpet than the zs? mine seems thin, im presuming they also had more sound deadening etc under the carpet. i remember my coupe carpet was thick the zs one feels like a bed sheet
ill also get under bonnet stuff and flocked glovebox lid

My 02 has better carpet than mates 04, probably be lucky to get a 400 with decent carpet (due to youngest now getting on for 9 years old) but guess thats even better bet.

or a peice of board, works a treat and means you can hide all those little things like bulb kits, first aid kits, reflective waist coats etc that you need abroad as well as tyre inflator etc.

Early ZSs have a plastic channel for directing air to the back of the car under the two front seats.....
My 51 plate ZS has the thicker carpet which I think is the same as a Rover 400 carpet......I took mine out and dyed it black as it was grey
Now I consider it to be a 'luxury' ZS carpet

Sounds a good plan, might struggle getting a flocked glovebox that will match the rest of your dash as any i have seen so far are too light
