why some seller ask me to choose this type of payment "paypay, send as gift"

does this type of payment save some transaction costs?

Yer it saves them paying fees to paypal, Ive asked people on here to use it before for bits ive sold, but wouldnt advise it if you dont know/trust them as you have no comeback!!

you pay the charge, if buying ebay they are meant to swallow the cost of paypal.

As already said, I wouldn't pay for stuff online by using gift, as you have no come back at all if the goods don't turn up.

It's fine for sending payments to people you know. For example we use it alot on here to pay for events we are going to so that the orginiser doesn't have to foot a substantial paypal bill for orginising it

im sure its actually against eBay policy to send payment as a gift when buying off eBay.

As others have said if you pay with a GIFT then you cannot raise a complaint against it, Paypal will not support you and you have no rights.

I would say, that if a seller on ebay asks for Paypal payment as a gift it would be a good idea to buy elsewhere, it smacks of trying to cover his tracks.

It also might be worth informing ebay as i am pretty sure that it is against the rules by doing that - as you in effect are paying outside the ebay protected method....

worth double checking teh rules on that tho!

I don't know if there is a setting but if I ever recieve money into paypal it automaticly gets transfered to my main bank account.
