prices on these are dropping by the week. I would like a mk2 but dont see my mk1 fetching more than ?800 bassed on what some are going for.

When you factor in the cost of the belts, and how much the some of the parts are worth if you break - sadly - fair point well made .....

It is unfortunate that the mg's are a dying breed however it is up to us enthusiasts to keep them going as no one else will!!!

And me not being able to drive yet the main goal for me is to own and run a mk2 to keep the name going and I know many of my friends that have been in my dads car and want one so the more people like them they may start to be appreciated more as a mg than a tarted up rover !!! And more people will want them and prices might rise In The future

It's scary just how cheap the ZS is becoming to buy now. Makes our insurance valuations all the more lower and means that comparatively little damage can make our cars a write off
