E.M. light on after S.S. system fitted

Just had today fitted a cat/back system from longlife and within 2 hours the engine management light showed up and immediately thought the lambda sensor so have asked question on google and other people have had the same problem, would it be best to part with the cash for a code reader getting hooked up or is there something I can try first?

I would find someone with a code reader nearby, they could reset it and see if the light stays off...

As said if youve got rid of the cat I can supply kits to turn the mil light off. But if you haven't best get a cheap code reader, I got off of eBay for sub ?20.

I had a cat back and seperate decat fitted at the local powerflow franchise last weekend and after 200 miles I have had no light

You can get the code cleared using a scanner and then fit a MIL kit.
