Mk2 180 with Alcantara
£3,500 in the bank for the best one offered. The ZT-T has fallen through, although I'm looking at others, but if there's a decent ZS180, I'll have it. Deano's looks good but I think it might be sold (?) and the Mrs tells me that she'll make do with the dog on a harness in the back, in the footwell, or in her A2.
So ....

The car hasn't sold, its now just had its major service done and ready to see this years events. just in the process of doing a few mod's just had open cone in the wing. It would have been a shame to let the car go. the mini i was after fell through and i say wouldn't compare to the ZS

Why not go for a mk1 saloon and spend the rest of the money on a full service, induction, exhaust, Quaiffe LSD and you may have hit your £3500 budget then!!! Plus.......no worry about finding mk2 bits........plenty of Rover 45s and mk1 ZSs for parts kicking about.
That way you will have a rapid and very capable ZS180
Just my thoughts mind!

Fair point made ... I just prefer the look of the Mk2 though. Saying that, I can't find any, need a car and this looks good value ....

sorry to dissapoint guys with the sale of mine...silly offers were coming in for a great car. You all know how good these cars are, it would have been heartbreak to see it go for a silly price. thats why i'm keeping it

Probably the spoiler that made her think that hehe
Mk1 and mk2 have the plus points but for me the look of the mk2 and the more up to date interior make it worth the extra money. Having said that I love the look of the mk1 too, in a different way, but the shark gills on the mk2 are something else!
