Had it back for one day, but couldn't resist.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130515067511
Picking it up tomorrow... needed a new splitter for ages due to a moron driving a piece of **** rusty mobile home with bits falling off it, and wanted to fit fogs, budgeted around ?35 for a trophy blue splitter if I could find one, but found the whole works for ?50. Next up, a laguna splitter if I can find one cheap, then I will proceed to cry when I have no money left to eat or put fuel in my car!
Next, had budgeted for the decat & middle section mod. Read about Jay not having too much fun with his fuel consumption, have we got any 120 drivers that can share their experiences with a decat? Was thinking if it was a bad idea I might leave it.

I'd also be interested to find out about de-cat issues. I've got a 120 as well, but I've got a new manivertor so hoping it would pass an mot if I was forced to de-cat?

From what I've read on various forums decays add no performance. Just makes it louder and potentially uses more fuel!

I wasn't expecting any performance gains, it's just the noise that I'm after. If it affects fuel consumption, with petrol prices the way they are the last thing I want to do is pay more money to pay more money. My focus now is going to be on weight stripping for more smiles per mile.

Picked up the bumper, has a few scratches on it though. Had a trip to London and a nice drive in the MG at least, will need to do some touch up work to the bumper before I put it on. If I didn't want the fogs I'd just use the splitter and sell the fogs, but hey.

Seems to be a main problem with getting parts off ebay, they never seem to mention the scratches etc, bit cheeky of some of the sellers really...

True, mind you I was honest with a rear spoiler for an Focus RS, said it had a crack in it, thats why it was replaced under warranty. Bloke came to buy it and we put it on his car, and he gave me ?50 more as he couldnt see the crack once it was on his car..
