Phate is an unknown quantity at this point
You want Autoglyn Super Resin Polish.

Rub it on very well into the panels and leave it on for about an hour then rub it off.

The polish has filler material in it so it really helps reduce swirl marks etc!

Autoglym, is chalk based, not very nice polish IMO, I have used many polishes/Waxes over the years and I have found one that I do like at that is Meguirs TechWax paste, goes on with ease and comes off with ease no chalky residue.
As for clay bars well these can seriously damage your paintwork as mentioned, I recommend a professional detailer to actually machine polish your paint work with either a diluted amount of G3 or some of the professional polish products around.
