I saw that on fb, imo the guy is on something if he thinks anyone will pay that for a high mileage mk1, no offence.

I can't see anyone paying that either no matter the spec. I would say average miles considering the age of the car. Mine has a decent spec but i'm a realist and know I'd be lucky to get near a grand for mine, worth double if broken.

I reckon until the zs starts to get out of the "it's just a secondhand car" area prices will stay low, shame really, but that's how things stand at the moment.

Reading the specs it's nice but it's not such a high spec. The only expensive upgrade is the exhaust and wheels, civic suspension is dirt cheap and nowhere near as good as proper Gaz coilovers (from experience).
Hell if somebody offered 2k for my derv Id seriously consider it, now that is a high spec!

Piper cams fitted isn't bad either though ... mated to the exhaust that's gonna be a decent power upgrade IMHO ....
