Brands Hatch

Took my ZS to Brands Hatch on sunday, got drive along the start finish straight, to get to my marshalling post.

So not quite a track day, but he has been on the hallowed tarmac!

Got a taste for it now????

Novice days are fun, used to be ?25 + ?10 helmet hire for an hour on track.

Looked the other day and its now a day or half day, which pushes up the price.

Due to these factors, I was unable to put down anywhere near all the power that my car has... I did a couple of fishtails in the attempt, but kept the car on the black stuff.

The Brands Indy circuit is my favourite track. I first did a trackday there in 2004 and got so deceived by Paddock Hill Bend that I had my 300zx completely sideways all the way through the bend and so glad I didnt spin! (for anyone that has never driven there it is VERY steep and has bumps at the braking points before it although it doesnt look it on tv).

Only done it in RWD and 4WD though so thats on this years agenda!

That's cheap! I thought it was ?25 for 20 minutes. I'd of made more of an effort to get there!
