Zs 180 2003 one owner from new
A rare opportunity to become the new proud owner of my beloved Zs 180 Saloon.
I have owned her since new and she has covered 57,800 miles.
All the belts were done in April 2010 at 45k together with an upgraded metal thermostat housing as the OE ones are plastic and are prone to splitting.
She is fitted with a custom made de cat pipe and full stainless exhaust from this pipe rearwards.Passes mot without issue as this model is also fitted with pre cats which do the job on there own.
Hand crafted induction kit, uprated clutch hydraulics as oe ones are prone to failure and give that awfully high clutch pedal.Fitted catch tank, Mg logo stainless gear knob and stainless pedals.
A Reidy remap was also done a few years ago just to pull the subtle mods together. She is now putting out 194bhp.
Racing fluid, goodridge hoses and yellow stuff pads fitted two months ago.
Wheels were fully refurbished in January 2013 by The Wheel Specialists at a cost of £280.I have fitted upgraded centre cap logo's and chrome valves & caps. There are four matching Falken Ziez tyres.
New bonnet & boot MG badges as originals had faded. Higher output headlight bulbs.
Taxed until December 2013.
New Mot until June 23rd 2014. Not a single advisory.
Finished in gleaming X-Power Grey. Just had annual top up of Autoglym High Definition Wax.
The car is stunning in appearance and has the performance to match.
The gossamer note that the KV6 produces is in a league of it's own and is quite intoxicating. This is accentuated by the lovely unobtrusive exhaust and induction sounds from the hand crafted systems courtesy of Pro Speed, Cardiff & guaranteed for life.
No rush to sell and I refuse to throw her away for peanuts. I believe you get in life what you pay for, as I am about to do with her replacement.
What you will get is a previous one owner car from a mature guy who can tell you everything you will need to know about it. For instance, the back seats have only been sat in a few times etc.
The only reason for sale is the fact that I am well into my sixth decade on this planet and have outgrown the image. A big comfy automatic beckons.
This car is not your normal tat that go for peanuts these days.It has been loved and cherished since I took delivery of her from Newtown Motors of Cwmbran in 2003
Sensible offers will be considered.

Deffo DONT break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems all that happens to good ones, instead of selling to a new owner..........Or just keep him...you will regret it after a few months.

Just bought a Merc c220 Diesel Auto 2003 with genuine 39k.
We got Astra Gte and a Wrx Scooby to play with.
Well into my 6th decade I feel I've outgrown the image tbh. I've looked for a Merc like this for ages and when it came up I just had to go for it.
The zed is quite exceptional for her vintage. Any thoughts on what I could realistically hope to get for her would be appreciated.
Her's my new car !!!! NOT!!!

That particular ad was pulled last week, last time I looked it topped £200k! Think the fact there was a child in the boot under the abduction title didn't sit too well. Not very clever but then the whole ad reflects their state of mind.

Bumped up for those that have posted recently that they are after a Mk 1.
Just come and see, trial, fall in love with her, and then we can discuss a price.

That really is in good condition - I would advertise it in all the usual places but with a high, "what it's worth" price and stick at that, it will sell but may take some time.
