Top Speed
Now then guys and girls, just out of interest, what is the fastest you have been in you zs's???? i dont want to know were or if it was on road or track LOL. but im just curios. the book says 139 mph top speed. ive done 141mph in my 2002 ZS 180 hatch and it was still going, but I backed off (dont want to damage the engine).
anyone done any better or had an interesting high speed experience??
Ps.
I know its not all about top speed cus they handle so well, but the V6 isnt there for show LOL.

146mph gps indicated with a tail wind, although I dont believe my speedo or my gps so god knows how fast it really was.
The missus maxed out her octavia vrs 'siren and blue light clad company car' the other night in pursuit and only managed to record 123mph on the cars calibrated recording equipment when the speedo was reading somewhere between 130-135mph.
Always thought speedos seem to be a bit of a white elephant above a ton.

Beat ya! 142mph clocked by GPS
I didn't know if it had anything else left in it, as someone had just pulled into my lane so I was easing off somewhat
