rarer than rocking horse poo...

You can, however, have the leather re-coloured which is what i did with mine, originally it was a blue/black one but was in a poor condition so i had it refinished, you could have the sections re-done on an all black one, I didn't realise this until I'd found a very elusive blue/black one!!

If you're interested in the name of the company that did mine let me know and I'll pass on their details....mine cost £50 but it comes back in 'as new' condition and the finish lasts very well..

heres a pic of mine....

Rigth so you had yours repaired! Well their are a load of black leather brand new wheels for the ZS on fleabay for £40 delivered I was just going to get for now, but I may look into getting the sections retrimmed as you have. We have a place in redcar that offers such service, been waiting to take my arm rest top over their to get re-trimmed in black leather with red stitching to match my red monaco's in my ZR. So perfect excuse to have a drive over.

BTW much more useful edited post btw

lol back at ya lol

right then, mine wasn't recovered it was refinished, I had a quote of nearly 200 for it to be retrimmed, not many places do it as it is very difficult to do.
Mine was refinsihed, this is a process of preparing the leather that is already there, competely degreasing it, adding a coloured 'emulsion' then a finish is added over that to to seal it....I've had a couple done by them (I had a cream leather/walnut wheel done on my P38 Range Rover) and the finish is good and has lasted very well...

some more pics on this thread.....

Did it cost you £50 for the actual work or the wheel and the work?
