.... what does the st mean on fords. i ask this as my dad is just about to buy a mondeo st220 and wondered what it means

Oh yeah

I was thinking of the Focus ST hehe, forgot about the Mondeo there.

Google isnt helping much, though it did reveal that vRS is Victory Rally Sport, apparently Ford sued Skoda for use of "RS", Skoda won an added the v because of it. Or something

Ive never heard of a definition for it tbh. Bit like Skoda's vRS, not sure what thats about either.
