Very nice. Quality motor! then I would say that as I still have one
Very underated and fast cars!! The engines are sooooo understressed in std form!! change the airfilter and exhaust and wind the boost up and they will see off most fast cars even today! Theres a silver evo6 local to be that doesnt like to play anymore...lol
I recon there are less than 100 around. especially in that condition! defenetly less montys about now than maestros.

I have recently being sorting loads of bits out on mine. Including new carb, shocks and hybrid turbo with a bit more boost

Defenetly get pumping the waxoil into every nook and cranny though....they are a nightmare for rust!!

That should have the slotted rear lights being a D reg G

Ah! I must admit this is pretty exotic!

I believe there were only four or five of these around in Luxembourg when they were new.

I still have the Diamond White one my father bought new back in 1986, although it's looking rather sorry now. Still, I have gathered almost all the parts needed to restore it. The only thing I'm looking for now is some spare time to actually do it...

Fitted last night! not much left on the original pads! no wonder it wouldn't brake very well!

How are the Ferodo ones bedding? remember you will need new discs too.

[QUOTE=EMS Ltd.;152219]Compared with the 400 turbo the brakes seem to be made of cheese! I've got some Ferodo pads that I may fit at some point

Yes, the Ferodo pads were fitted last night (finished around 9:80pm). They certainly seem to stop the car quicker than the old pads. The inner pads were down to around 2mm and the outer ones around 4mm.

Some more photos...

Inner wall of the nsr tyre. It was cracked all the way around.

Evidence of it having been hit previously by a taxi.

Turbo boost gauge. I think I may have to make a neater job of this!
