how can they offer that? i was thinking of selling due to fuel costs but its worth keeping now i think as it will even out on the cost side i think, as diesel servicing costs more, and more frequent, and parts for the zs 180 are not to bad so worth keeping in the long run, just have to drive abit more slowly and i only do 5000 miles just a year anyway!

Unfortunately, any MG is gona be priced way under what we know they should be. A MK1 180 is almost certainly worth more in parts than as a whole car. Mental! One day they will be appreciated and then some lucky ****** could make a mint!
Pound for pound theres nothing to match a zs in terms of smiles per ?, believe me, I know! I got rid of my old 180 and went swiftly through a prelude, volvo c70 turbo, bmw 523 and then a bmw convertible untill I saw the light and got myself another ZS.
The only similarly priced car I would change my ZS120 for is a ZS180.

They never pay what they offer, they'll always find something to set against the given price hoping you sell anyway as you may have travelled a long distance and don't want to take the car home again.

They are one big p**s take. Like insurance companies who hike up the prices each year, they prey on those who just either haven't got the time to shop around or just can't be bothered. As we all know, there are loads of people like that out there.
