WHY is everyone writing them off!!!! In a few years the ZS will be a proper classic. Just look at Lancia. Worthless when they pulled out of the UK. Now any Lancia is worth a few bob and a decent Integrale well they are getting very costly.

Im keeping my ZS, what people dont understand is they are british and there are still over a million MGR cars on the road, so parts will still be available for some time. And with clubs and groups like ours, kept going for ages. I mean come on, look at the MGB.

Still loved and kept on the road years after thet stopped production.

ZS for ever I say..............................................: yes:

Im with you. I feel proud to be driving round in a british built british engineered car. Its the first car ive owned in a long time that ive 'bonded' with lol. I wouldnt sell it for the world. Its up to us to keep the MG alive now.

It did make me laugh the other day though, changing the disks on the ZS, and these school kids were standing at the end of my drive, i could hear them trying to work out what car it was, and they settled on a BMW. One of them was like 'its a BMW mate its beemer, nice!!'

back in 1974 I bought an "E" type Jag..... for.....?365...... and I had a choice of several out of Exchange and Mart.... no one wanted them.....and to get rid of it when I got fed up of putting petrol in it ..... I swopped it for a 4.2 V8 Sunbeam Tiger...... another car no one wanted then......Oh how I wish I had one of them now ..... , the ZS will go the same way I,m sure , not to the same extent maybe but who would bet on them not becoming a classic ?
