I think ABS reduces the braking force on all wheels even if just one wheel locks up. EBD can vary the braking force on each wheel independently.

I saw a video somewhere showing the effects of mixing worn and good tyres. Braking was only as effective as what the worn tyres could handle.

I'm open to correction...

I must admit I'm a little surprised that if you hold down the button on the dash to lock the doors you can set off the alarm and lights. My very own panic button.

Don't think the neighbours enjoyed my testing of it at 7am...

Trouble is now all i want to do is lay low, wait for someone to walk past and set it off

Cheers for the response peeps. I think I'm gonna be fussy and wait for the right one to come up as I'm in no rush to get one but do have my heart set on a top spec derv with sunroof and 180 kit.
