TBH your better of just rooting the filter through to the passengers side of the bumper. Its very easy to do with plenty of room. You wont get any heatsoak that way.
Filter looks a tad small for a 2.5 litre...? should flow enough air if its clean though

Not sure you will be getting any any cool airflow that way because the std intake just roots to the inner bumper.
I was worried about water so didn't want the filter to be any lower

I originally had the induction kit on my 3.2 crossfire so it should be fine I think
