Good choice with the diesel
. Unfortunately though they are quite rare compared to the petrols and hold their value alot better too. By deffinition they tend to have more miles also and many are hatches (probably because people who buy diesels are more about the practicality). This also means many have been work horses and abused but if you look hard enough and are patient good ones come up every so often. Id say just dont rush into it and you will find a right gem.
