KV6 Breather parts required...
Is anyone breaking a ZS180 at all?
I seem to have a few broken breather pipes (it seems its the pipes that normally have catch tanks on them) the fatter one of the two has snapped at the "T" piece... so looks like I need to replace both...
May also need a new IAC as the car is over-revving all the time and have tried cleaning the IAC twice now... although could be related to the broken pipe above I guess...

Have just gone out and WD40'd the throttle mech, so will see if its any better tomorrow (kids in bed now)
Pics of damaged pipes attached... (The catch tanks also pictured were laying in the V not connected to anything) can you see my epic temp repairs??
BTW... the catch tanks seem a good idea, but the pipes are too small for the quick release holes and so don't make a seal at all...
So if anyone has the two damaged pipes then it would be appreciated!

If anyone happened to be stripping a KV6 then I might be able to get them for half the price or less (heres hoping) - although I realise that most older pipes will be just as brittle as the one on my car...

Yeah thats the problem and is the way mine went. You could make one with pipe and a t piece just need good connector ends. I've got a new No.1 pipe kicking around somewhere if you want that for the connectors to try and make your own.

Them catch tanks used to fit quite well but years of removal eased them up :-( do work well though!

I am considering attempting to refit them with the new pipe... but until I get them I don't know if there would be much difference in the seal that they make...

Doesn't seem to have made much difference...

Yes, but then it wouldn't look OE and wouldn't route the same way... plus I'd have to find some decent pipe that doesn't collapse or expand under pressure I think, maybe some fuel line would do it...
Someone mentioned I should try resetting the stepper motor and see if that makes a difference... Since thats really easy to do I will do it later and see what happens
