I see what you mean I think we'll see allot more bi-turbo cars
I doubt the sort of people that drive audi's would want to be driving a 1.6's though even if its a turbo.

bi turbo makes a bit more sence as it gets rid of that irritating turbo lag. But i doubt a bi turbo of any size would be very economical

could be wrong ?

1.6 turbo diesels seem to be the current trend
