Alarm Question
Is there any way that you can lock the car with someone in it (or a pet) so that the alarm doesn't sound. I have tried locking it with the button and with just the key but everytime when my Mum's dog is inside the alarm sounds?
I know on other cars I've had there is a little button inside the car to press specifically for this very situation so you can lock the car without the internal sensors on, so your pet can actually move without the alarm scaring the poop out of them!

Nope the key doesn't stop it going off that's why I mentioned that in my post. I locked it with the key, then put my arm inside and it still sounded. My hazards flash 3 times regardless of how I lock the car.

Thats really odd, locking it with the key should disable the internal sensors as the guy's have already said, in fact I'm pretty sure that's what it says in the owners handbook.

Yep, MK1. It's really odd as I know that it shouldn't do it because the manufacturers know that you will have pets etc in your car sometimes.
Does anyone know if having the fob etc reprogrammed will fix this?
