For Sale - Rover 200 LE BRM 1999 V-Reg
My brothers Rover BRM is for sale which is number 265 of the total build. The car is in very good condition overall having a covered a relatively low 71,000 miles. It is taxed until the end of Dec 2012 and the MOT expires on 09/02/13. It comes fully documented with all its previous MOT’s, receipts, service documents, handbooks, some old tax discs and V5. The factory fitted options on this BRM are the 6-disc multi changer fitted under the passenger seat to compliment the R860 tape player (Both fully working alongside the steering wheel controls) and dealer mats (unmarked). Car is in a totally original condition except for a Powerflow backbox and a few subtle OE changes/replacements under my ownership which included sourcing an immaculate steering wheel, new amber side repeaters, dash pocket, heater resistor, MK2 rear wiper, fully working time clock/radio display, all coolant rubber pipes (Receipts included) and key fob. The car has had 4 main dealer stamps and 1 specialist (Xpart dealer) at 64,700. The interior of the car is near new. The car is still on its original unmarked Rover windscreen, the bodywork is in good condition with rust on both rear lower sills and front drivers side wing on the arch edges. Every panel on the car is as it left the factory and no signs of ever having any paintwork done. Genuinely the front bumper and bonnet are almost perfect with the orange grill totally unmarked. 3 of the alloys have minimal kerbing and 1 has none (pictured). The rear tyres have lots of tread however the front two will need replacing at the next MOT.
Car is ideal for an enthusiast. I am asking for £975. Car is located in Norwich. Please send a message or call me directly on 07595 415640 if you have any further questions. Thanks, Stevie.

BRM's seem to be making money on the bay stev. Saw a tatty one go for similar to what your asking and yours is as tidy and solid as you can get. Bargain to be had here

Cheers Luke, I think ebay is the last resort if it does not sell via the known forums. I do genuinely think if someone is after a BRM this would not let them down.

Has your ZS been written off (did not read the full threads) but you have had that for many many years!

ha not as bad in real life lol, I was told by the previous owner the exhaust was for a 1.8 VVC ZR so the bumpers are a bit different. It sounds nice without being ott.
For the F you want the TF Anniversary trims!
I should add that the previous owner had also fitted a New alloy 52mm TB in place of the standard one (I think the standard ones are plastic?)
Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yes Steve, had it 6 and half years now. Its been all over the country following the BTCC, plus a few trackdays. It's running but it's half the car it was. Trouble is I've become to attached to it
Always wanted a BRM and this looks good, does it need much doing? I assume the coolant is ok with no HG issues?

I had my ZR 160 for 3 years and it was perfect imho but sometimes its good to have a change. PM your phone number and I could go through the specifics. Mechanically its solid with no issues in the past 18 months (apart from a perished/split coolant hose but luckily my brother came home and still had coolant in the tank) but the pipes got replaced at a Xpart dealer for OE (landrover stamped logo), coolant bottle is clean/as is the oil cap/no white smoke and no signs of HGF (I have a receipt for the HG from 2010) will need two front tyres before the MOT and to make it complete the lower arches could be repaired/blended in and a new drivers wing (this could wait possibly). Thanks.

I can vouch that this car is in very good condition, seen it in the flesh and looks good!
