glad the story turned out good but we always buy snap on, yes its expensive but in my experience it is the best. Halfords stuff is good but you have to keep the receipt or they argue like mad. Snap on is no argument just change.

Bergen is reasonably good just dont buy anyting other than spanners and sockets.

Halfords ratchets break...regularly....

Snap on stuff like power tools etc are unbeatable, more torque more power and they do the job time after time. Its not just a name but the best you can buy

halfords are okay but broke a few ratchets, but they are good for replacing stuff in my experience
ive only broke one snap on screwdriver and a ratchet to date and they replaced it no problem, matco is another good make that doesnt have such a big name here but is big in the states
