My old college (clydebank college) had a track car project when I was there in 2005 and It was a rover coupe turbo which was took up to knockhill and at the time my bro had a fast nova and used to get a good race with it... Then once I left the college they done something to it to make it proper quick.. But it fell away due to funds I think then they tried doing the same with a modifying project with a similar escort.

These guys are just foundation students, so level 1 next year, with a further 2 years after that.
We have a regular supply of decent scrappers. Struck a deal with a local scrap dealer who donates the cars, providing he gets them back! Good recycling! We have a much bigger, state of the art workshop where the higher level students progress to. Cars over there include a ZS180, a new mini & a year old Phantom donated by Rolls Royce.
