From what I've been told by an ex employee, they didnt actually build cars on a Friday afternoon for that very reason. You could however get a Friday morning last shift car built as they supposedly finished on a half day every Friday to stop the "Friday afternoon" car issues that other manufacturers sometimes have as I have experienced in the past with a couple of brand new cars lol.
