Lost key...
I think I might have lost the key and fob for my ZS - I had it when I put it away in the lock-up but since then it seems to have vanished. If I can't find it, obviously I'll need a new ignition barrel and door locks, but what about the SCU?
Can't believe I've misplaced the bloody key.

Do you have the scu, or 5as, most mk1's missed the Pektron scu.

The easiest way to tell is the shape of the fob rectangular for 5as, and more egg shaped for Pektron.

No scu then, the cheapest and probably simplest solution is to find someone braking a mk1 zs and salvage all the bit's you'll need.

Yeah, what he said -
You'll need the ignition barrel, drivers door and boot lock barrels, key(s), 5as alarm unit (under the dash) and the remote fob(s).
As long as you get the fob and matched 5as unit it is just plug and play.
Biggest problem now is getting into the car with no key.

Thanks everyone. Since the MG is in the lock-up it's not locked, it's all open.
