If it carries the MG badge it should at least have a model in the range that looks quick and goes quick! A nice V6 with full bodykit and big wheels, not these euro boxes with a fast badge! Not for me.

A tenth of the mileage and a 25% smaller engine will attract many.

We've all been spoiled with a great car that is the ZS. The ZS resided at the cheap end of the market, the same as most MG's and until the last 2 generations the MG saloons have never been blessed with big engines.
The only unMG thing about the 6 is that it isn't pretty, oh, and I wont be buying one.

BMWs are hugely overated for what they are, they still go wrong as often if not more than any other brand of car, that car, that still has fairly high mileage, if its not had brakes done will likely all need done soon, parts arent cheap and lets not forget its out of warranty now at 4 years old.

Some people don't like the 6, it's as simple as that, back in the 80's the triple M MG's were sneered at by the dyed in the wool MG enthusiasts but are now accepted as bona fide MG's.

I still find that a lot of folks don't accept the Triple M's as MG's but do include the Zeds.

Really, I thought all that nonsense with the triple M's not being proper MG's was in the past, obviously some prejudices die hard.
