My first car, bought when I was 16. Still have it 15 years later, now with a fairly well-worked 1440cc A series, goes quite nicely.
The following year I bought a Midget, ex-Californian car with no history and A30 suspension and brakes.
It promptly had this fitted:
A few years later, met my future wife. Three months after that she bought this, with snapped cambelt. Now has a modified big valve head, 285H cams and a few other bits.
Six months after that, we had our first major joint purchase, MG Metro Turbo.
Then we didn't buy any cars for a year or two, so bought 3 in one weekend;
Friday it was my project car (to go rallying in)
Saturday it was her project car (to be big engined but non-V8):
(Don't have a photo of it properly, but that gives you an idea of what hers would look like if it was closer to being on the road).
Sunday it was her sensible family car (a 260):
Then two years ago we moved to Munich. Stored the cars and bought a ZS over there:
Sold it to my brother when we left Munich two months ago
The only MG I've ever sold... Also had an 820 SLi and 620ti we bought and onsold along the way.
