Anyone read the Birmingham mail today? News about MG
dont know if some has already bought this up,
i just caught the front page at the petrol station, about a guy who has beat Nanjing to the relaunch of the x-power car, read the link below for more info.

It has nothing at all to do with the ZR,ZS and ZT and never will.
The guy has bought the rights to MG Sports and Racing Europe and is allowed to build MG SVs and SVRs.
Hes charging 90k for them when some of the originals are being sold for £30-35k Unused.

From what i gather, this car is based upon the still-born SV-S, the supercharged V8 that was to replace the SV-R. This car is already suffering from the existing SV's 2 main problems though ; a lack of real power and it costs too much !

Sadly, even if he could try to revive the ZS/ZR, he'd be blocked by legislaton, they are no longer compliant with Euro Emission and pedestrian impact regs.
Good luck to him though, I think if I were him and my name was "Riley" that would be my Longbridge brand revival.

Sounds good, but the question is 'how long will it last'? It's not exactly a 'mass market' car...but then that could help it i suppose.
