You could start with a good set of wheels

The nice wheels are the ones on the Yellow ZS in the second picture??

Further to my last post I'll sell you a Mod "chip" that will give you a guaranteed increase in BHP, basically what it is is this resistor that you put....

Just heard back from Janspeed

Quote:
Hello,

I have delt with many MG ZS's in the past and so my personal recommendation on extracting more power from the 2.5L engine would actually be:

Induction system (for air filtration)
Sports Catalytic converter
Cat back exhaust system

I would personally use our performance manifold's as well but these would take you over budget. The brilliant thing with all of our equipment is that you can buy each piece separately, so if and when the time comes you can always purchase the manifolds later!

The equipment listed above, induction kit, sports cats and exhaust system, should see you a gain of around 15-20bhp. They will also aid the vehicle to rev harder and easier. One of the most important factors in performance tuning for road use is the feel of the vehicle. Having a more responsive and eager engine is actually just as important as outright power.

Using a sports cat will actually help you with sound as well. Cars running de-cat systems are generally quite loud, where as our sports cats, although free flowing, actually suppress the exhaust noise to give you a seriously pleasing exhaust note. The V6 in the ZS is naturally a very nice sounding engine, however the Janspeed exhaust system has been tuned to increase the volume slightly above standard noise levels so when under hard acceleration the noise can be herd in the cabin while at cruising speeds it is well suppressed.

Including delivery and VAT the total cost of a sports cat and full exhaust system is:

£610.99

I will however trim this cost to £600 as per your original budget.

I hope this helps you. Feel free to contact me via email or the phone number listed below if you have any more questions.

Regards

Martyn Broad
Good price?

Plus is the Janspeed induction system good? or would I be better off finding my own BMC CDA?

Thanks
