Heatshield - ok for both sides?

On my mk2 zr i had dual exhausts and i bought a second heatshield and it looked fine on the other side.

Just checking if its the same case with the mk2 zs - can you use the standard heatshield on the left of the car as well and have it be a match?

Rory

hi mate, i had this on mine as you know, i used the right hand one on the left but i needed to modify it, you will see when you hold it up against the bumper there is a lip at the back of it (where it touches the bumper) i had to grind that off and smooth it down so it would fit flush.

does that make sense?

R8NMG will become famous soon enough
There is no such thing as a left hand heatshield so one has to modify the OE to fit on to the left hand side.
