Yeah a right PITA but had to be done as I have the MOT coming up in March. Need the exhaust to arrive so I can butcher the cat in to the system, hopefully get that done before the MOT too.....well I sort of need too!

Just can't wait to get it on the road again and continue the depurpling!

If you have the standard manifold you should be ok with a decat for the MOT.

Really? I've run a sports cat before and passing an MOT has been a nightmare. With no cat I can only see it being worse to get through.

My 180 is decated and it had no problems at mot time there are pre cats in the manifold which keep you right.

All K series with MEMS 3 should be ok with standard cat or standard mani precat and not need both.

Why oh why did start tinkering, lol!

Rear upper link bush on the passenger side is fubared too, so just had to order one of them. Did consider some adjustable camber arms but cash is a bit tight before payday.

Apart from that, the rear door handles are done now, rear suspension is all sorted too. I may well get her back on the road next weekend.....although probably jinxed that now, lol

God forbid I might (read 'hope') get the car back tomorrow! Ended up buying some camber adjustable upper control arms primarily as they're polybushed so won't need replacing again anytime soon! So have them to fit now.

Plans for tomorrow....

Fit new upper control arms
Fit new rear brake pads
Readjust handbrake
Refit centre armrest
Refit d/s rear doorcard (I had an argument with it when replacing the door handle)
Adjust coilover height once off the lift

So not a huge amount to do, just hope I don't find anything else that needs replacing!!
