That's a fair enough point then Pete, as Dan says if its personal preference because of not wanting to push the car too much and because of the bigger toys that go there then yeah totally a good choice mate.
I get too competitive and its bitten me once when on track, not good.
Last 2 times I've just had to keep a clear head and hold back and remind myself I'm there to just enjoy myself and not end up in the barrier.
Tis hard to keep a level head though when doing that

Love the sound of the VEEEE 6.!!! Its like to my ears.
Well survived in one piece. Was worried when I saw the hail storm come down as I approached the blackwall tunnel, but once I got to Brands hatch the sun has come out. The session was good. Learnt from last time where I could go a bit faster, brake later. And as a result actual overtook a TVR, all that power, but no handling. The Zed just clung to the track and I had him........only down side was some absolute scumbag in an excuse of a BMW. (the white thing in the pics), he obvious didnt hear the bit about "no overtaking in braking zones and corners"...Overtook 5 cars going into Surtees and all way round to Clark curve....still as I was getting ready to go home, I notice his bonnet up and fluids coming from underneath...shame.
The car and driver only get stressed if the driver takes his brain out before he puts the lid on!!!
Maybe go with the same guys as me? They split you into experience levels so you don't have to worry about the serious boys in their big toys. Take things at your own pace a bit more. Also everyone is in mg of some description so a lot more civilized :-)
