They will. There's also a chart they will look at. Also if they cant see the ABS pump under the bonnet and think a car that age doesn't have abs then their not very switched on in my book..lol

A friend of mine bought an old BMW a few years ago and after a couple of weeks noticed the previous owner had stuck a small square of insulation tape over the check engine light =O

My god my auto phone spelling/typos suck lol...

Mot would um... Pass anyway, but it would be nice if it all worked as it should, no reason it shouldn't work really, it's all present and correct, we shall see shortly !

I had a Vw touran in when I worked at Vw... They had filled the esp light with black rtv ! Button inerds where missing too... I failed that on mot lol.

Would be a little out of order for me to pass my own with a known fault... I'm 70% confident this will work tbh.

Shot in the dark there paid off !

Bought a used 420 abs pump from ebay for £26.90... i plugged it in quickly when i got home, it resulted in the light going out ! Happy days.

What a result good news dude! Woop woop!
You can legally remove abs aslong as you take all the components out. I checked with VOSA before mine came out :-)

Yup, so long as its all gone !

This was much easier though lol, i would pass it myself being a tester... er... no.. i would fail it my self being a tester

But its nice to know the light is out, i ran it back and forward and it didnt come back on, so good stuff.

So, seats, pas pump and all lights should be out and it should be MOT ready.

There is some under body and inner wing rot to sort... and of course tart up the body, but there is light at the end of the tunnel now.

Oh and while your there Dan... may i ask what you did with your white dial 160mph kit that was in yours ???????

Are the front jacking points rusted much, I've just done mine, they were pretty scruffy for a 2005 car.
