Yes, they are M6 studs. If you don't have a spoiler fitted already (the low level one) then there should be markings on the inner lip showing where to drill the 6 off positions.

theyre isnt on the MK2 i made this mistake hence why i have an extra filled hole in my tailgate
the way i did it was to position the spoilers bolts onto the bootlid with a peice of masking tape and draw round the bolts giving an accurate place to drill......then i just greased the holes to prevent any rust fitted the bolts and hey presto

I've got my otherhalfs car with spoiler to get measurements etc! Should be good!! I won't feel left out at meets now!! LoL
