As far as I can work out it is not the system which is being switched off, but the deal with MGR has expired so the Trafficmaster clock will no longer pick up data from the roadside transmitters.

Are you sure, I was on their website only yesterday and couldn't find anything to that effect.

Were any TF ones available in yellow? I'd advocate the change to a TF wheel anyway - mine feels (and looks) quite a bit nicer - or at least I think so!
It compliments my red Monaco interior very well - even the stitching matches.
The TF wheel is only about 20mm smaller in diameter, so it doesn't make the steering noticeably heavier.
It also has bulbous bits around the ten-to-two position for your thumbs, so is more ergonomically satisfying too.
The only issues when fitting one of these are that the boss is about 5mm shorter, and the slot in the back of the boss which locates into the indicator cancelling mechanism is 90 degrees out. To get round this I made a little metal collar about 5mm thick, with lugs on that locate into the slots in the back of the steering wheel boss, and slots at 90 degrees that locate in the indicator cancelling mech. It's pretty simple really.
Oh, and the earth wire needed to be moved, but that was dead easy too.

the tf one does look a little neater but dont think they do yellow, i quite like mine if it wasnt worn so bad. and with the rest of the yellow trim it looks very nice.

I have one of those R45 wheels (complete with the audio and cruise switches), much nicer than the ZS one and easier than a TF one.

Personally I don't like the colour concept interiors, especially the yellow, much prefer the grey my 51 plate came with along with the smokestone alcantara I changed to, I think it is much more grown up.

Oh I don't plan on going all Lego on it's ass! What I've done so far is quite enough. I'm more interested in comfort and features (like my ATC and your cruise) than anything else. Still doesn't mean I want to grow up though!
