As said above.. Give Adrian Flux, Sky and Chris Knott a go (in that order), guarantee you'll get it lower!
I'm paying £440 for my modified mk2, I was 22 with 5 years no claims... Also put your other half or mum on your policy, it will lower it!

Im with lancaster with the MGF (vvc) at £372 full comp. They want £2K for same cover on the zr160....??? WTF!!! How can the justify that!!!
best im gettin quoted is £700-800+tptt insurance is stupid money atm!!!

Then people moan that so many people are on the roads with no insurance!!
It drives me crazy must have spent 4-5 hours on the phone getting quotes for the 180, you get passed from broker to broker repeating your details very time your transfered. Then quotes vary by hundreds of pounds. I dont know of any other industry where different quotes will vary by such a high percentage!! Shouldnt be such hard work!

I'm sticking with Admiral as I get discount for multi-car. The zed recently went back on, however this was high as it is only on with 2 years ncb but came out at £550 fully comp. All my ncb is on the Discovery and that is maximum. The other car on the policy is the MGF SE which is £360 iirc.
Insurance is a pita but make sure you get legal cover as this helps get things sorted for you.
