Including ZS purchase price and what I have spent it is around ?10800. That includes everything including a sump washer and resistor!

oh if i add everything up, then i suspect i would be looking at 20K over the past 6.5 years.

Cost me 11K as i bought it when it was only 9months old as an ex demo; and it had the + pack, full body kit, 17's and monaco's. One advantage of getting an ex demo i suppose. even got a full tank of fuel 12months tax and set of mats thrown in.

prior to me molesting it it hardly cost me a penny though, just service items and a set of front fogs...

i dont keep a list for the zed after the wife found the growing folder for the kit car, you try and justify to my wife 2 engine changes 1 of which cost me over 2.5k to build , 3 different carb set-ups ,4 wheels changes, new headlights just because they were smaller, seats ect ect ect ontop of the original build cost

Well I have had mine since Feb 2010, current costs: ?566.94 petrol, ?12 Trophy Yellow Spray/Touch-up kit, ?7 MG badges, ?40 Rally Mudflaps, ?10 new stereo, ?14.25 Oil & Air Filter: TOTAL ?650.09 Most of the petrol is because my daughter lives a tank full away, and I see her once a month. If you wondering about buying it? My mum (love her) bought it for me as a birthday present @ ?2000, serviced, mot'd and 8months tax.

I've got a folder for each car I own that contains all the records form purchase to present day... some of them are quite scary!

Actually the Defender is the worst as it's in at the specialists every few months getting some major broken component fixed or new toys added!

For a seperate reason to this thread i was asked for the spec list for my car, so decided to track back through bank accounts and recipets to find all the bits i have added to the car since i started to mod it in Sept 07.....

Well i discovered i spent more than i thought, and that it is in total more than i bought the car for back in 2004!

oops!
