I got fire extinguisher, litre of top up oil, jump leads, two highviz, 1st aid kit, warning triangle. As a marshal, I do tend to have to to keep things for any emergancy.
Oh not forgetting spare wheel and tools, lol...................

Yesterday I had two brm wheels. Today I have a vvc head, a box of bushes and links, a fuel filter and poly gearshift bushes and shortshift. Unfortunately most of it is staying in there as the garage is busy. Theres also a fire extinguisher as my last 180 brakes caught fire!

I had to chuck the kids out so I could relocate my battery there. I also have a small sub, autochanger and the MGRover emergancy triangle that mounts on the boot lid.
I have a pair of luggage nets which hold in the loose stuff such as a bottle of oil, cup holder, nokia phone holder, first aid kit, 2 copies of MGfast (inc the copy with my car in) and a set of spare bulbs.
Under the carpet are another triangle, detached tow hook, an emergancy towing bar and a set of jump leads.
Rattling loose are a K&N apollo which is going in the F, a mk2 grill which is waiting respraying and a pair of MGR mats for the MGF that came from the scrappy for £2.

mine has got.... (from memory)
about 1L of OAT in the bottom of the 5L container, a selection of screwdrivers, spare bulb set, latex gloves (slightly used) high viz jacket... all those above/level with the boot lining, next to the 'dead space' around the wheel arches...
underneath - warning triangle, 1st aid kit, torch (tho taken out as batteries dead) de icer, emergency screenwash, few spare fuses to compliment the ones in the car, can of foam (probably out of date now), safety glasses.... and no water - that is in my drivers footwell
