?475 is still high, I was quoted ?337 for a modified ZS with 5 years ncb (Discovery has the 13 years on it) I'm 45 btw. Talking of cars back in the day, my HSX Chevette was only ?298 fully comp in 1989 and that was running twin 48's!

Insurance
I am currently 17 and own a 2.0litre (113) Turbo Diesel 45 Saloon, with Quinns it costed me around ?1500 (fully comp) which i thought is relatively good with the engine size I have.
Before I had a Rover 414i which cost me ?1250 (fully comp) so all in all ive not done too bad.

I bet the HSX Chevette was alot of fun then Mick!
It goes too show how much insurance has risen over the years, insurance is expensive and I am 41. I pay 331.00 pounds fully comp with 7 years ncb and thats with Chris Knott with all mods declared. I don't think it's going to come down though, it will just get more expensive!

Yep, the HSX was fantastic! Probably a better handling car than the ZS, but when on full song was superb. However it dipped into single figure mpg when pushed! Was running a few works DTV parts so can't complain.
I looked at Chris Knott but read on the website they don't entertain stripped cars.
