thats how i did mine, looked good untill the wind caught the bonnet and slammed on the engine cover whilst it was off the engine lol

Yer should be fine, Did mine today in blue but looks wrong as its not trophy blue and doesnt match the blue of the induction hoses so going to redo it tomorrow in red lol
