No idea to be honest! They can go forever on some, and fail within 30k on others. It all depends on the quality of the actuator arm in the first place, no knowing how long it may run before wearing out. Mine went around the 35k mark and was totally shagged.

Fair enough.
Ah well, I just have a couple of weeks to source the parts (handy I'm getting paid Friday) as a friend from Manchester who drives a 420 Turbo GSI is coming down to swap it over, should be a giggle

Thanks dude....that *shudders*....Maestro is my Dad's - he uses it to fill up with crap, or when I need a car for whatever reason, same for my sisters...its the biggest POS in the world but due to the fact anyone can drive and insure it it is effectively priceless
The Maestro was there as I was using it until I picked the MG up

Shortlist at the minute is
Performance
Induction
Decat
2.5" catback
possibly piper cams
remap
Suspension/Handling
I quite like the stance of it as it is, but I think I'll replace the bushes etc just so tis all fresh and new, might uprate them yet, haven't really looked into it.
Looks/Exterior
HID/Xenon kit
Fix rear bumper sag
Refurb/change colour of alloys, I'm thinking anthracite black
colour calipers
Brakes
Uprated kit, maybe 300mm black diamond grooved discs with 4pots and braided lines all round?
ICE
I have about £400 worth of gear sitting at home doing nothing, all I need is a HU - I have speakers and a sub/amp all from my first car when I was a chav - I'm yet to pick one...
So just a couple of bits for now
