Saw the truckers doing that saturday morning, M6 northbound was at a total standstill , but it was funny tho lol
it was you who suggested it on XPF

thing is.......it is all well and good putting prices up to drive people to only have one car or whatever........but it also affects how much people take home at the end of the week........feel sorry for all those with mortgages to pay in this difficult period as well. Cost of living has risen but pay packets stay the same.......or in my case reduce due to foreign labour doing it far cheaper.

1 Thing I can't figure out, we are constantly told that the cost of fuel is due to Crude going up to $140 a barrel, Blah Blah, But In my Job, I travel all over europe, and I have to survey fuel stations for fuel filling rates against our cars ability to cope. Nowhere else is diesel dearer than "gasoline, Benzine, benzina".

In france, spain and germany, the governments have applied duty to Diesel, so it can't be that our Gov tax diesel more than petrol. How's it all work ????

Also, Work of warning to anyone planning on running Diesels on New Cooking oil, Don't! unless you heat it up first or "Cut" it with something. Raw, it contains Glyserine. heating it gets rid of it.

I ran a diesel Maestro last winter on 50/50 diesel and parafin, It absolutely flew along
