took it off because I needed to get a repair from rover, but under warrenty they wouldn't have accepted a supercharger on there!

had it nasp for a while. fitted some piper 285 cams. but piper wernt making verniers anymore. so they told me they could get the std timing marks in pretty much the right position.
they couldn't!

although it ran and didn't eat all my valves, it wasn't really giving me any more.
made myself some adjustable pulley and re-timed it.
cant get pipers timing figures as it felt like the valves were touching pistons, so retarded them till it would clear and fired it up. runs and drives pretty well on std ecu so I left it like it.

after that I re-fitted the supercharger. while I was there I added the DTA S80 ecu. I felt it would be a much better system than relying on a piggyback and the std ecu.

with all my mods it did pretty well on the rollers.

sounded pretty good in a tunnel not far from me..

as well as the brakes I got a few suspension parts..

whiteline 27mm front arb

asr rear subframe brace and arb

hardrace rear lower and upper arms, as well as gaz adjustable coilovers

spherical rear trailling arm bush

hardrace front upper and lower arms

was good but the suspension was a little soft on the std gaz springs. so soft in fact that the front springs were getting coil bound.
so I got some new front springs from gaz. std fronts are 400 lb, I got some 500's from them to try.
was a lot better but maybe a touch harsh on rough roads.

found a place selling helper springs..
http://www.dfaulknersprings.com/

got myself some 650lb front springs! with a 450lb helper
used the original 400lb front springs on the rear (were 225lb!) and added a 200lb helper.

its fooking awesome to drive now.

so ive not had the nasp engine mapped after I took the charger off. I would like to have it running and driving as well as it could but I don't need to spend that kind of money atm.

I have a new engine im building in the garage.

got some 82mm custom forged pistons

82mm steel liners

forged steel rods

I got the std crank stroked from 82.8 to 87.8mm.

new engine will give me 2782cc
