R8NMG will become famous soon enough
I believe the fob battery is a yearly service item so it is good practice just to change it every year. It is only a £2 item.

Check the battery type first before purchase. I normally just change the battery over and try locking and unlocking. Once it works then it is job done.

Why is there one there?? and isnt it needed?!

Isnt the Fob battery meant to be a 12month service item?

The one in PC is for clock / calendar memory I think.
Fob one is listed as 12 monthly but depends how much you use it, change mine when I notice range is reducing tbh
