You may notice when the car is hot, in hot weather its hard to get in gear. Worse in heavy traffic.

My advice if you are keeping it long term is to start looking for a sheddist kit NOW. The designer and maker Nigel only does them as a hobby so waiting untill it fails is no good. I asked him a few times untill I got one and it took around a year. Mine didnt pack up and I gave it to another member and it still lives on in his but its so much nicer to drive now.

Nice car, I would love an 06

via the xpower forums. Do a search on clutch hydraulics and all will become clear.

The hydraulics are made of plastic. The bracket is stamped thin gauge steel.

The arm gets stiff the bracket flexes and the slave lets go. The system is sealed and not designed to be bled so You end up buying a new master at the same time.

I dont know a current price but mine was a little over 150 posted steel and parts have gone up since I bought mine.

Its not a total beginers job to do but not that hard.

Avery worth while upgrade.
