Okay, so he hasn't checked the oil for 6 months, doesn't mean it ran dry unless it had an oil leak. 72k is nothing, my ZS has done about that mileage and hardly uses any oil between changes. Still be worth a look to be sure and say yea mate it's fooked

Running it low/empty on oil doesn't mean that it's totally fooked, I know it's from a totally different marque but my Prelude had absolutely no oil in it for a good few months before I bought it...

Filled it up with Magnatec, did a few changes and everything was fine! Compression was actually better than it would have been out of the factory and power was up too!
