the rear brakes are quite bad for having issues, so check all the rear lines are in good condition and not rusty
apart from that just the usual stuff, make sure it goes into gear smoothly when the engine is turned off, all the levels are ok and make sure it has a spotless service history

Targa is a 2 sec job but storing the glass is another thing. If you don't have the bag you have to support them somewhere. I used to slide mine in the back seats, in the gap between the backrest and seat. Fit there nicely but it depends if you need your rear seats or not. Then I got a bag for ?20. My mate took them out once whilst I was driving!!
Another thing that people overlook is the boot opening. Although the boot is quite big, the entrance to it is very shallow, so getting large items like subs etc is not really possible.
Other than that go for it. Mine left a lasting impression on me. Great cars that look awesome.
I might get a r200 Cabriolet for the summer and stick the coupe bumpers and spoiler on it. Looks just like the coupe then.

So rust gasket brakes vvc mech and service history got it
And cant wait as no body else will have one without a doubt
Especially with that power at 17 and a targa for the good weather
Just keep my fingers crossed
P.s I won't be ruining it by putting stupid sub or dat in it anyway

Shame you're so far away. Mine is now up for grabs. MOT till october, taxed till august. Head gasket done last year, 94k in nightfire red. Full leather, with black dash conversion. Small signs of ageing but dent and scuff free.
